Would you like to be on a cruise that feels like a big family reunion?
Festival At Sea hosts a black cruise or as they name it an “African American Cultural Cruise.” It represents our individuality, wonderful differences, families, and communities. Festival At Sea has cruised for over 27 years and had many generations of cruisers. They have a family mindset and when 1st time cruisers come on board they are amazed at how thousand of people can cruise together.
What To Expect
The party starts before you unpack your luggage. The have people take our luggage to your room and your job is to find the party. Imagine walking in ad hearing “Wobble” or “Electric Slide” you are going to immediately want to join the crew and dance! (That’s the initial meet and greet)
When the cruise ship stops at different islands the party doesn’t stop on the boat. The cruise line has a beach party and they bring DJ’s. So just envision you sitting by beautiful blue water and listening to some smooth R&B. (Life is good)
The music is rooted in the African American Culture. Their shows and concerts have headline acts like Charlie Wilson, Dru Hill, Doug E. Fresh, Kirk Franklin, Bell Biv Devoe, Faith Evans, Babyface, & more.
They also offer comedy that will have you laughing for days. With comedians like D.L. Hughley, Sinbad, & Rickey Smiley~how could you not be entertained? Domino tournaments, Gospel Brunch, and African head wrap demonstrations are also apart of this amazing experience.
